Glen later found the stone again and decided to send it to Joe with "studio modifications".
He asked Jenna and Dave if they would join him in finishing this piece for Joe.
The rest is history and the stone now sits proudly displayed in Joe's home.
The Excavation

Joe Mueller started this piece because he saw the fun that the children were having carving stones.
Inspiration really struck Joe, he would carve a nautilus!
Ignoring all intruction and advice he attacked the stone.
After a day of "O'shits" the excavation was complete.
If you look hard enough you can almost make out the nautilus in there...
